Local organizations are doing important work throughout our community, but it is not always easy for residents to discover who they are, understand what they do, or know how to get involved. Give Livingston brings that information together in one place so people can explore local nonprofits by cause, learn more about their work, and connect directly with the organizations that interest them.
Why Give Livingston Was Created
Give Livingston started with a simple observation: there is a lot of good work happening in Livingston County, but much of it can be easy to miss.
As I became more involved in the local community, I kept learning about nonprofit organizations, programs, and causes that I had not known about before. That raised a larger question: how many other people would care about these organizations if they simply had an easier way to discover them?
Give Livingston grew from that idea.
The goal is not to tell people what causes they should support or which organizations they should choose. It is to make discovery easier by creating a central place where residents can learn about the nonprofits serving our area and decide for themselves what matters to them.
Helping Local Organizations Reach More People
It can be difficult for local nonprofit organizations to consistently reach the people who may be interested in their mission, need their services, want to volunteer, or be willing to provide financial or other support.
Give Livingston provides participating organizations with another way to introduce themselves to the community. Nonprofit profiles help explain what each organization does, who it serves, and how people can learn more or get involved.

Give Livingston is designed to be simple. Residents can discover organizations based on the causes they care about, learn enough to understand their work, and then connect directly with the nonprofit for more information.
